Scottish Government's Enterprise Growth Fund

Almond Enterprises Ltd is delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Scottish Government's Enterprise Growth Fund.

We are one of more than 60 third sector organisations in Scotland to receive a share of the £6 million fund.

The investment has came at a crucial time for us, and will help us to realise our future plans for growth and sustainability.

We are extremely grateful for this investment and will put it to the best use we possibly can, which will ultimately result in us making a positive difference to the lives’ of individuals and families throughout the communities of West Lothian.

The Enterprise Growth Fund is a £6m Scottish Government Fund. The Fund is making strategic investments in ambitious and enterprising third sector organisations enabling them to develop, grow and become more sustainable. It supports third sector organisations to realise their full potential and to make a key contribution to the National Outcomes of the Scottish Government. The Enterprise Growth Fund is managed by the Wise Group with consortium partners CeiS, DSL and Social Value Lab.

Dragons Den Funding Event Nov 2011

Following on from the success of their Dragons Den event in July, Almond Enterprises are delighted to announce that they will be holding another event in November so that they can donate their surplus profits to worthy causes in the West Lothian area.

Local charities, community groups and voluntary organisations in West Lothian are therefore invited to bid for funding of up to £500 at the event which will be held on the last week of November (Date to be confirmed).

*Please note that all completed applications along with supporting documentation must be received no later than Tuesday 1st November 2011.

In the past year over 33 organisations have benefitted from the work we do to the tune of £18,000 and counting!

Dragons Den Event

Website Now Live!

Big thank you to the team at Delta Design for getting our new website up and running in super fast time, we're very happpy with the results and the team at Delta were great to work with, thanks again guys!

   

New Office Now Open

On the back of our continued growth and success, we have now settled into our new offices alongside our parent company Almond Housing Association. Definitely a step up from our wee flat in Adelaide Street complete with wood chip on the wall that was our home for 5 years ;-) Onwards and upwards!
